General
Enquiries.

For professional approaches that do not fall naturally within a specific transaction or access route.

A useful first note

Tell us who you are, why you are writing and why the matter may be relevant.

General Enquiries is the appropriate route for professional introductions, owner or company approaches, adviser dialogue, relevant service-provider introductions and other matters where no restricted information needs to be exchanged at the outset.

A concise message is usually sufficient. Please include your name, organisation, professional role and the reason for contacting Bratton Richards. Where a company, transaction or ownership situation is involved, a short non-confidential description of the context is helpful.

Please do not include confidential, price-sensitive, inside or proprietary information in an initial public enquiry. If further discussion is appropriate, a more suitable communications channel can be agreed separately.

Appropriate routes

Transaction dialogue

Owners, companies, advisers and intermediaries may introduce relevant corporate, M&A, ownership or special-situations matters on a non-confidential basis.

Professional relationships

Relevant institutional counterparties, advisers and specialist professionals are welcome to make a concise introduction.

Media & publicity

Bratton Richards maintains a deliberately restrained public profile and may decline media, promotional or publicity enquiries that are not directly relevant.

Restricted access

Users already invited to restricted material should use the Authorised Access or BR Secure Login route supplied to them rather than General Enquiries.

Important

An initial enquiry does not create a client, advisory, fiduciary, investment or other business relationship.

Any formal relationship, if appropriate, is established separately and documented in accordance with the nature of the engagement and the applicable legal and regulatory framework.

Bratton Richards may decline or not respond to enquiries that fall outside its focus, are insufficiently specific or would place the firm outside its intended operating perimeter.
